EVENTS AT CLAPHAM LIBRARY (Map)

Under Five's
Parent and Toddler Group Tuesdays 10.30-12 noon. Cost 65p per family which
includes refreshments. Term Time Only.There is a witing lIst. Contact
Michael Towsey or sharon Goddard.

Storytime Fridays 10.30 -11.15. Drop in session. Term Time Only.

School Aged Children
Homework Club staffed by Homework Assistant Sandra Wareham.Thursdays
4-6pm. Internet Access. Free photocopying facilities. For ages 7 years
upwards.

Teenagers
Teenage reading Group. Once a month on a Thursday. 6-7.30pm. for 11 years
upwards. Favourite reads. Listen to music. Internet access. video and Cd
Loans. Prooduce your own newsletter and put your own display up. We also
invite Performance Artists to run sessions .
Register at Clapham Library and we will inform you of meetings. Contact

Febuary Half Term Events at The Library:
We have been kindly funden the Stockwell and Clapham Neighbourhood Town
Centre to run a series of evetns during the half term week. These are as
follows:

All tickets are available from the week beginning 4th February at Cclapham
Library. For ages 5 - 11 years.

Monday 18th February 2002 2.00pm -4.00pm . 30 places . .
Roman Storytelling and activity. Mr Eagle worked as advisor to the
blockbuster Gladiator. He brings along shields and Spears, helmets for
children to use. Very popular with boys.

Tuesday 19th February2002. 2.00pm - 4.00.pm Frantic Antics Circus Workshop.
20 places.

Wednesday 20th February 2002. 2.30pm - 3.30pm. 25 places.
Celebrating Chinese New Year: Mask Making with Shaliu Qu.

Thursday 21st February 2002 . 2.00pm -3.00pm. 30 places
Local author and storyteller Mary Dickinson will be treating yougsters to
storytellling and puppet making.

Friday 22nd February 2002 .2.30pm-3.30pm. 30 places
Multicultural and Tradtional Puppet show with Sonia Appiah.

Saturday 23rd February 2002. 2.30-3.30pm 30 places
Kudum Music and drumming Workshop.

Please Note:
If tickets are booked and if for any reason children cannot attend, please
let library staff know so place could be offered to other children.
Wheelchair access for events except the circus workshop event.
