New Stalls at the Farmers' Market
Two nurseries are expected to become
regulars at Clapham Farmers' Market, which takes place every
Sunday.
Beauchamp Nurseries was originally
formed in 1988 as a landscaping and garden maintenance business,
growing plants as a sideline. Since 2002, the nursery has become
the sole occupation of owner Turhan, assisted by his wife Judy
and children Lucy & Jack. Beauchamp Nurseries produces a wide
range of traditional and unusual garden plants, focusing on
those aimed at the modern urban gardener and flat dweller, such
as patio and windowsill vegetables and herbs, as well as
ornamentals.
Coronation Nursery, from Nazeing in
Essex, produces some of the most exquisite greenhouse plants
available in this country, specialising in a delicious range of
peppers, cucumbers and aubergines.
Fresh pasta, ice cream and a wider
range of herbs are also expected to appear at the market in
coming weeks.
